D.O.G.S.S. CAN USE YOUR HELP

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. The more help we can get, the more animals we can help. There are many of ways to help:

DESPERATELY NEEDED: Donated property (acreage), preferably with a building, around the Hubbard/Brookfield area to put additional rescue facility.  Would also need volunteers to help build or remodel building and also donations for building materials, landscaping, utilities, etc.

SUPPLIES: Such as dog houses, kennels, fencing, dog and cat toys, collars, leashes, treats, chew bones, food, food bowls, cleaning supplies, towels for bath time, grooming supplies, blankets, dog/cat beds, dog/cat carriers, and, most importantly, monetary donations to pay for necessary vaccinations, spay/neutering, medications and for any other needs which produce vet bills.

FUND-RAISING: If you work for or know of an area business that would like to donate supplies or items we can use for raffles, garage sales and/or auctions or if you have an idea you would like to share with us - - we’re listening!

SECOND LIFE: Any supplies will be put to use … NEW or USED!!!! (Especially dog houses and kennels)

FOSTER CARE: We have reached our limit of stray dogs that can stay with us so we are in great need of foster parents who would take in the new arrivals into their homes as we receive them. This also helps us learn their dispositions and helps us help them become adoptable should they need any special training or socializing. They have to remain with the adopted family until they are adopted so this may be a short or long-term commitment but a very important one to the animals with special needs.

GROOMERS:  Need volunteer professional groomers to flea bath and groom our family dogs and also any new strays we acquire so they can become presentable and adoptable.  The before and afters are sometimes so dramatic that it can make a huge difference in their appearance and thus give them a much better chance at becoming a new family member.
